Traveling Junebug

This weekend starts Junebug’s Kansas Farewell Tour.

Tonight kicks off with my cousin and I going to a haunted house.
FB status of cousin:  “Junebug & I are going to a Haunted House tonight…I have a dilema…do I take an extra change of pants or wear a “Depends”? Been a while since I have been to one and I’m not a huge fan of scary killer clowns or Michael from Halloween.”
Junebug: “I’m just going pantless to solve the whole problem.”
I don’t like chain saws so if there is a Michael with a chain saw we are screwed!

Tomorrow I’m heading to a class.  The woman who helped me save my ovary from removal is having a class to teach the voodoo she does.  Since I won’t be able to see her again I might as well learn when to tell myself when I need to smear humus on my belly or eat a bucket of chunky monkey.  It should make for a good post.
 
Then I’m heading to my aunt’s farm.  Halloween is a big holiday for my family.  I’m not sure what I’m going to be because my aunts have decided.  We were talking about being zombie southern belles in homage to my moving to the south but they have changed their minds.  You will see pictures next week.  It is time to prepare the farm for winter so I might be mucking out the chicken coop, digging up the last of the potatoes and mulching down the rest of the gardens.  Anyone else’s idea of a good vacation?  Ok.  Maybe I’m odd but I love spending time on the farm.  It is so relaxing and feels so good to work with my hands.
