My favorite posts from the week.
Boom Boom Larew of How to become a Cat Lady without the Cats (isn’t that a fantastic name?) reminded me of the time I got my ears pierced. I threw myself down on the floor in the middle of the department store having the biggest fit ever until she agreed to let me get my ears pierced. She was there to get hers done for her birthday I believe. I was 4 and I stopped crying as soon as she said yes. I didn’t allow myself to cry when they pierced them because I didn’t want to push my luck.
I must admit that I’ve been wondering for awhile now whether it would be cheaper to keep buying my eco-friendly Shaklee cleaning products or make my own. Luckily I did what I usually do – wait until someone else does it because I’m lazy. Along came Greener Cleaning Moms and the How to Make Window Cleaner for Less Then a Penny. You have to go over there for the answer. I’m lazy remember.
I-Madge-Ine the Twaddle showed off the people and things she saw at the Folk Life Festival in Seattle. Reminds me of all the fun people I see at DragonCon. Can’t wait to spend Labor Day in Atlanta people watching.
I love this Rainbow Sunflower Mosaic by Margaret Almon Mosaics.
Centsational Girl is showing some neat patio update ideas and hosting a giveaway.
For my IF sisters, Keiko at Hannah Wept, Sarah Laughed listed 5 Infertility Books for Great Summer Reads.

Loved the account of the pierced ears!
Ouch, the very idea of having anything pierced…..

Thanks! I had to send them your way. Besides I could pretend I actually do math.
