I’m taking a time out today. For the first time I’m going to leave my 7 month old with a friend so I can get my grays covered up. It is during her usual nap time and I’m hoping she will sleep through my absence. I’m not sure which one of us will be the basket case.
Do you take a time out of your life for yourself? What is your favorite activity for a time out? Mani Pedis? Coffee with a friend? Working out?

Hope no basket case scenario :0) Limited in time out, husband an invalid so spend my time with him, but now and again sneak to the gym.
It’s so important to take time out for yourself! I usually go shopping or dinner with friends. And while I’m gone, I miss my baby like crazy though! But it’s nice to be able to laugh with girlfriends and reconnect.
I hope you enjoyed your time.

Good for you for taking time out! I’m a working momma, so although it isn’t exactly true, my time at work seems like enough of a break… My evenings and weekends are all about baby time! (Although I do try to keep my roots done…
) Tomorrow night I’m leaving baby with hubs and going to a book club. It feels so decadent!!!

My favorite time out is not out, but in my sewing room. I love shutting the door, putting on quiet music and creating something. It renews my spirit!

The first time when you are on your own, children safe somewhere else is like having and arm cut off because they are such a part of you………….. Enjoy!
A long walk by myself with time to spend talking to the Lord.
I live alone so time out only involves not doing anything that will distract my thoughts, walking does that for me.
Blessings during your little time out, Geoff.
