Have you seen my horse?

by Junebug

“When you fall off the horse get right back on!”  I don’t know if it is because I’m a farm girl and rode my first horse at 5 or it is a good philosophy but it is one I always try to follow.  I’m searching for my horse named Blog so I can ride that nag.

(((Picture of horse would be here if I could find my bloody camera.)))

I’m feeling better!  Baby Bug was sicker than she has ever been with a temp over 101.5 for two days and not eating for two days.  It was horrible.  Nothing makes a mother feel more inadequate than when her kid is sick as hell.  However, everyone is on the mend and I’m searching for my riding boots.

I have not given up on my new project.  Last month was Can I be a Travel Blogger?  This month is Can I be an Organized Woman?  Since I’m starting this about a week late the odds are not in my favor.  I am a bit frazzled after being on the road for so long and am in desperate need of order in my life.  Currently in search of organization blog experts!  Do you have a favorite one?  Do you know of any?

To get organized I need goals:

1.  Plan out the next 10 months of this project.

a. Contact September’s experts.

b.  Put together a blogging calender with ideas, etc.

2.  Fully set up my blog and finish the clean up projects I have listed for years.

3.  Plan out Baby Bug’s 1st Birthday Party Bash!

((((Another fun picture which is on my lost camera.  Yes, I actually went horseback riding last week and have fresh cool photos – somewhere.))))

Do you feel organized in your blogging or even in your life?  I sometimes feel like the first year of motherhood is me trying to write a Thank You note while tied to the front of a semi going 60 MPH down the highway.  I could be slightly exaggerating.  Are there organizing goals you have kept on the to do list for years?  Or if you are organized how do you find the motivation?

C’mon Trigger!  Time to saddle up and lasso up an organizational expert or two for advice.  With any luck I will find the kind who will do my homework for me.

Listen to you speaking to my heart… I SO want to get organized! The best site I’ve seen for decluttering and general housecleaning is flylady.net. It’s all about babysteps – building small routines and habits to clean up your home. Love it!

Although don’t follow it very well… I love your description of the first year of motherhood trying to write a thank you note while tied to the front of a semi going 60 mph. I still need to write that thank you note…

Thanks! I have followed FlyLady on and off but I’m going to have to check it again. Ugh! This pile of Thank You cards are going to kill me! I’ll finish my Birthday ones and Phi’s Baptism ones just in time to start on her 1st Birthday ones. Serious pain in the buttocks to be kind.

You are so right!!! My fixation on organization is probably my fear stalling me from succeeding. :-)

* Nothing is worse than having a sick baby and feeling helpless! So happy Phi is feeling better.

* I don’t know any any Organization experts, but if you find one, please let me know.

* I also have a blog calendar with ideas for posts! I thought I was the only person that did that! LOLZ

* And what? Phi’s almost ONE already? Holy crap.
