Bedtime story with Baby Bug with commentary from the peanut gallery known as Daddy…
Junebug: “Hurry little hare, there’s a fox. It’s a seal appearing up through the ice! Look at Walrus’ big tusks and hairy moustache.”
Daddy: “All these animals are natural enemies and eat each other in real life.”
Baby Bug looks at Daddy as if all knowledge shall come from his lips while Mommy glares from behind.
Junebug: “Look, Mommy has caught a fish for dinner.”
Daddy: “Fish aren’t cute which is why they can be eaten in a children’s book.”
Daddy nods sincerely at Baby Bug and she giggles.
I think I will have to homeschool because if I send her to school they might call the authorities on us when she starts dropping her knowledge on the other kids.
